Election 2008, I Voted!

My Sticker! I dropped off my ballot at Norton Younglove Center & Highgrove Fire Station at 9:30am this morning. The whole process was pretty painless. And I didn’t take many photos because it happened too quickly!

I was asked to sign in the moment I walked in. The nice lady at the counter told me I can just drop off my ballot on the left side. I went in and man at the door directed me to the left side as well. I gave my ballot to the lady at the desk and she gave me a sticker. This all must have happened under a few minutes.

That was my voter experience. Did you you vote? How did your experience go?

My mother in law saved me-I thought I was going to have to vote at 5 Pm when one of the kids I watch gets picked up, but she came over and I loaded my two kids and the two I am watching today in the car and we drove over to the polling site. There were only about 10 people in front of me and it went pretty quickly. They had everything really organized. They had me sign, gave me my ballot, I waited about 4 minutes and then was able to go in the booth to mark my ballot, fed it through the machine, got my i voted sticker and was on my way-10-15 minutes total-not bad!! :)
