The second Twestival LA took place at Level 3 at Hollywood and Highland on Sept. 13th, 2009. I had such a fabulous time there.
I want to thank The Island of Hawaii for sponsoring the event and entertainment! They made were a big help in getting the event together. My favorite part of the night was meeting all the great people that I knew online, in real life! You were all great, and thank you so much for coming and supporting our charities: CHRYSALIS and LA Regional Foodbank!
That night, I was even lucky enough to have Chris Thompson serenade to me his Twitter Dance song! It was just totally awesome. :)
Labor Day weekend was the perfect time to have a college reunion. My friends were in town and we all met up for dinner. It felt like old times.. except with the addition of little ones. :)
I saw this parody of Twilight a while ago and thought it was the best one yet. The directing and editing is awesome. And I greatly admire the dance choreography!
I never thought I’d actually run into Twilight parody cast at Comic-Con! That was awesome and they’re quite friendly and talented. I can’t wait to see what they have in stored for “New Moon.” Keep up the great work you guys!
I had such a great time at Comic-Con and also got to meet the cast of The Guild! There were so many laughs in their panel on Friday morning! There were lots of special announcements! Be on the lookout for The Guild music video! It’s really, really hilarious and was co-written by Felicia Day and Jed Wheadon.
After the music video, they all came out to sit on the panel, all dressed in their avatar outfits! So awesome.
We also got to see the premier episode of The Guild Season 3! And what a wonderful surprise for us. There’s a guest star, and I think you can figure out who it is with all the comic-con tweets. ;)
More Comic-Con news to come.. after I sort through all my photos. So check back in a bit. ;)

I’m heading out to San Diego tonight for Comic-Con! I’m so excited and I can’t wait! The 3 panels I plan not to miss are The Guild, The Big Bang Theory, and Totally Rad Show! And of course, scoping out the exhibit floor is a ton of fun.
Are you going to Comic-Con? What are you excited to see? Let me know what I should not miss! If you have an iPhone, be sure to download the Official Comic-Con App and Syfy Comic-Con 2009. They’re both free, and you can use the floor map and session info. Hope to run into you there!
And if you can’t make it this year, feel free to follow my tweets for pictures and live video from the conference!
Note: Pictured above is what I was doing last year at Comic-Con. It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it. Pika.. pika, chu!
