Night at the Mission Inn

logo

My husband and I met up with my college friends for dinner at one or our favorite local places, Anchos! They make the best fresh tortillas around.

After dinner, we walked around the amazing and historical Mission Inn. We all made it a tradition to visit it at least once every year.

Here are some photos that @dragonal took with his Canon EOS 40D.

YogurtLand Tweetup

logo

I made it out to the first LA Tweetup at YogurtLand! It was fun seeing @christinelu again, and meeting her son, @mikeprasad, @rocknrollgeek, and @jspepper.

Excited to see each other, we forgot to take photos of the yogurt! But you can trust me when I tell you that it was very yummy. ;) My favorite of course is Taro! You have to try it!

And what’s a Tweetup without Twitter Badges?! That idea just came to me this morning.. so I had to print some out. ;)

After dessert, @mikeprasad, @rocknrollgeek, and dragonal went walking around Little Tokyo to get a snack. I know, it’s a little backwards. ;) We had weird eating habits that day.

After 5pm, we parted, dragonal and I went to the event at The Grove to meet up with friends and see the Christmas Tree Lighting show! ;)

Albert’s Birthday Party

logo

Happy Birthday Albert!!

I planned a birthday dinner for my husband.. and I thought it turned out great. We haven’t seen our friends in months, so it was a nice reunion! We went to Lighttown House, a Korean BBQ restaurant, for dinner. I was worried that the tables were too small, but they had a nice special set up for us, that did fit 24 people. Amazing.

After dinner, we stood in the parking lot chatting like we usually do. haha Finally, we went bowling at Linbrook Bowling Center. Again, I was worried we may not get any lanes. But when we arrived, we saw that this place had 40 lanes… and didn’t even have to wait more than 10 minutes! Awesome.

We played 3 rounds.. and boy were we tired after! It was such a fun night. Glad everyone could make it!
