I had the opportunity to see Cirque du Soleil’s Beatles Love show in Las Vegas during Blog World Expo 2009 this year. I have to say it’s one of my favorite Vegas shows so far.

At the entrance of the theatre, your eyes are dazzled with the beautiful color-changing lights that decorate the walkway from top to bottom.

I was pleasantly surprised at how clear and crisp the music was from my seat. I later learned that each seat had 3 speakers on it, which means over 6,500 total in the theatre to create the most complex audio system in the world! I can’t think of a better deserving music than the Beatles Love.

The acrobatics in the show was just incredible. I was in awe at the performer’s gracefulness for such complex moves. It was like watching ballet in the air. And the visual effects were just as amazing. It was a great treat to see the Beatles on stage! Trust me, you have go see the show just for this part!

Each song and scene conveyed just the right emotions. Throughout the show, I was felt a circle of feelings — I laughed, felt sadness, love, and happiness all around. The show was an intimate and powerful entertainment experience and I’m very happy to be a part of it.

The performance was amazing and so is the theatre! The stage is in the center of the theatre, making every seat have a perfect viewing area of the performers.

If you are ever in Las Vegas area, be sure to put Beatles Love on your to-do list. It’s an incredible experience and a memorable show. The Beatles Love show is currently playing at The Mirage in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursdays through Mondays at 7:00 and 10:00 pm.

I had such a fabulous time tonight. I went to my first “Hammer Don’t Hurt ‘Em” show! The show started off with some hilarious stand-up comedians: Johnny Cardinale, Lauren Bishop, Mark Daviau, Patrick Ney, Dragon Boy Suede. I especially liked Dragon Boy Suede… not sure how he made the topic ‘summer’ so funny… but it was hilarious.

And then the “Hammer Don’t Hurt ‘Em” crew came on stage! I had no idea what to expect from them. They took topic suggestions from the audience and just ran with them! The incredible improv actors & actresses were: Alex Albrecht, Felicia Day, Tony Janning, Jeff Lewis, Sandeep Parikh, Tara Perry, Eddie Repanich, and Brooke Seguin!

I loved how the short stories suddenly come back into a full circle of jokes. You just have to go to one of their shows to see what I mean!
